What happens with your personal data?
When advising on and providing financial products or services, we ask you for confidential information. We will handle this information with care and we do not share this information with others. Confidentiality is an important aspect in our company.

What do we use your personal data for?
We process your data for the implementation of the insurance contract in accordance with legal obligations and, for example, to estimate the insurance risk. We also use your personal data in order to investigate possible fraud.

How is your data protected and stored?

We handle your personal data with the utmost care. By means of various technical and organizational measures, we protect the personal data we process optimally against unauthorized access and unauthorized use. The security of our buildings, workplaces and systems are also considered.

In addition, we do not store your data longer than strictly necessary for the purpose of processing. The duration varies per product.

What kind of information we have to share with other authorities?

We exchange personal data with other authorities if it is required by law or necessary for the performance of the agreement.

To be able to implement a good and responsible acceptance and damage policy, Heilbron B.V. is affiliated with the CIS Foundation (Central Information System) in The Hague. This foundation collects and stores insurance data for insurance companies and authorized agents. Affiliated parties can also exchange data with each other. The objective of this is to manage risks and to prevent insurance fraud & crime (see www.stichtingcis.nl).

Can I view the information about myself?

You have the right to ask us which personal data we process about you and you have the right to request the correction or removal of incorrect data. We only provide access to personal data and information regarding the processing of personal data if we have sufficient certainty about the identity of the person making the request. We may request additional information when processing the request.
